"Children are precious gifts sent from Heaven" - anonymous

Saint Michael Parish Religious Education, Grades 1 through 6

Psalm 127:3  "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward."

The religious education ministry is involved in instructing our children in grades 1 though 6 in the Catholic Faith including the Sacraments of First Confession and First Holy Communion.

Our catechists share their faith, their experiences and their love for God with your child.

We offer an additional Sacramental Program for children in grades 3 through 6 who have not yet received their Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  Call the religious education office for more information regarding this program.

Participation - Sunday's 8:00-8:45 a.m. followed by the 9:00 a.m. Family Mass

All newly registered children, not Baptized at St. Michael Parish, are required to bring a Baptism Certificate when registering their child.

All children must be registered prior to classes starting.  See below for registration dates and times.

For the Care of Children

Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.                     Amen.
